i’ve disappeared…

Sorry.I truly try to post everyday, and most of the time I’m pretty damn consistent, but sometimes the day-to-day demands of being a full-time mom, wife, actor and human being seem to get the best of me.  I’ll admit it—I checked out of the blogosphere. Here’s some of what I’ve been up to…some interesting auditionssome interesting diaper changes (we’re eating butternut squash! peas! rice!)leaning on my friends & being there for them in some trying timesdeveloping an intriguing new website & planning new posts for MOVE and HelloGigglesplotting overly elaborate celebrations for Thanksgiving and Christmasattempting to finagle at least one workout into my weekreluctantly watching a plumber tear a hole in my bathroom wall to search for a leakwaking up to feed/change/cuddle a baby three times a night (should we start sleep training soon, hmmmm?)foolishly thinking I’ll have time to sew my own stockings for the holidaysdeveloping a line of reworked vintage furniture with a frienddealing with a mysterious flat tiredealing with a malfunctioning computergleefully planning a trip to Portland to visit my sister and new brother-in-lawhelping five of my friends decorate their apartmentsplaying with my super-active little baby and teaching him about the worldtalking about scripts with my husbandwatching season 6 of ‘The Shield’trying to eradicate an invasion of moths from my pantryspending time with my best friend Grant who was finally visiting from England!baby-proofing my houselamenting my lack of time to paintbegging the refrigerator-repair-man to return for a sixth attempt to convince my fridge that yes, it is supposed to make icewading through a maze of baby-making/home-buying paper work from the last yearfruitlessly searching for an affordable danish-modern credenza and then changing my mind and now fruitlessly searching for an affordable reclaimed-wood credenzamaking too many trips to Coffee Bean and Starbucks…and of course dishes, laundry, groceries, sweeping, finding lost socks and the endless parade of domestic tasks that we tackle on an everyday basis.  Let me tell you, I have a newfound respect for stay-at-home moms and dads.  I don’t know how you all do it.Serious love to you all (and new posts are on their way)...xoxoAutumn
