A love letter
Hi, I’m Autumn.
While you might know me best from my work as an actress in film and television, the more interesting parts of my life have happened behind-the-scenes.
After creating the life of my wildest dreams (I was married, living in Hawaii, starring in a successful TV show, running a thriving community blog, mothering a beautiful child and owned a four-bedroom house in LA), I still somehow felt disconnected from my true life and authenticity.
Then, I turned 33. And everything changed.
I went through an unexpected series of spiritual initiations without a guide or an understanding of what was happening to me – and through me… and ultimately for me. I navigated my way through profoundly dark times where everything I relied on seemed to be pulled out from under me. Feeling cut off from Source and my authentic expression, I had to find and develop tools to heal from the trauma I’d endured and return to the truth of my being.
Through my experiences, I discovered that we are each a match for our own mountain and we have an infinite toolkit to choose from to navigate our unique journeys. As I realized that we are in the driver’s seat of our experience, my sense of purpose evolved, transforming me into a mission-driven creator rather than someone merely trying to survive and achieve.
I’ve offered my life in service to God, in service to my mission and in service to the collective experience of creating a better world. My community, Earth School, is a place for us to gather, to grow and to learn.
I'm a teacher because I’m a student.
And guess what… so are you.
We are all in this school-of-earth together.
Acting came into my life as a clear calling when I was six years old and my parents took me to see my first play in the small surf town of Carlsbad, California. I fell in love with the idea of transforming, begged to audition for the next one, the jumping off point for a lifelong love-affair with art, musical expression and exploration of the human character and psyche. My breakout screen role came as the individualist Taylor Townsend on FOX’s hit teen drama, ‘The OC,’ followed by a steady stream of strong female leads on shows like ‘Entourage,’ ‘No Ordinary Family,’ ‘Last Resort,’ and many more. Over the next decade, I became a mother to two sweet boys and found a home telling love stories on the Hallmark Channel. In recent years I’ve also stepped into executive-producing, as well as writing and directing additional projects for stage and screen. My passion is telling stories that inspire, elevate & transform.
