Acting & Producing
First and foremost, I consider myself a storyteller. I started acting in my local community theater when I was 7 years old, drawn by my own deep desire to understand my emotions and what makes human beings behave the way we do. I moved to Los Angeles at 17 to pursue my dream, with a wing and a prayer and without knowing a soul in the business. I have been absolutely blessed to make my childhood dreams come true through sheer tenacity. Character work is my favorite part of my job and I’ve loved the opportunities I’ve had to play powerful women on iconic shows like Entourage and The OC. I also treasure the executive-producing work that I’ve done for the Hallmark Channel and the love-filled community I’ve found starring in over 20 films for them. I have a knack for story development and have co-written a musical called ‘Particle,’ as well as creating an upcoming sci-fi adventure series. Creative expression is a form of self-liberation and making art is holy work. Interviews
Sometimes people want to ask me questions. I don’t think I’ve always done a great job at answering them, but I’ve tried to be honest and I’ve tried to keep a list.
I’ve been interviewed by Kelly Clarkson, Jimmy Kimmel, Forbes Magazine, People, The Hollywood Reporter, Esquire, been on some of the magazine covers, had features in all the weeklies, walked down the red carpets, and pretty much did the rounds of the whole circus by the time I turned 30.
At that point I realized most of it doesn’t matter one hoot, so I might as well have a good laugh about it all and just start doing what I really want to do. Which weirdly enough is exactly what led to the type of questions I’d always wished people would ask.
