Hi, guys! I just wanted to give a huge shout-out to Meb Keflezighi, who won the NYC marathon over the weekend!

My husband was a professional runner when I first met him, and used to train with Meb. I spent many a spring in Mammoth to support them during their high-altitude training with their coach Bob Larsen. I used to work out with them—and by that I mean, while they ran 10 or 12 miles, I managed 2 in the same amount of time. Yeah. But I still felt pretty cool to be ‘training’ with Olympic level runners! Plus, it’s completely gorgeous in Mammoth and it was a wonderful way to enjoy the outdoors… Meb is one of the sweetest, most genuine, truly passionate runners I’ve ever met, and he has an incredible life story, too. To see him achieve his goals in the face of enormous odds makes my heart swell with joy, and I wish him many more successes! Please read about him; what he has accomplished in his life cannot be denied!! xo Autumn PS: Ryan Hall, another training partner, took fourth! Go Team USA!
