Hawaiian Holiday
My first episode of Hawaii 5-0 airs tonight! I play Dr. Gabrielle Asano—watch it tonight at ten on CBS! Anyway, now that I’ve opened with some shameless self-promotion, I thought it was only appropriate to post photos from my last trip there (to film episode 7). I flew over on my birthday, and I brought my girlfriend Leslie to help watch Finn when I was on set, and even though we were on the island for less than 48 hours, we had a ridiculously good time.
Our favorite meal had to be brunch at the Beachhouse at The Moana Surfrider. The Moana Surfrider hotel is a 110 year old historical plantation-style hotel. The design feels unique and really special, and the Beachhouse restaurant surrounds an incredible old Banyan tree and overlooks the ocean. Gorgeous. Plus, the food was delicious!!
