Summer (and Autumn) in New York…part 6

One of my favorite places to visit in New York is MOMA.  This time with baby in tow we were forced into a slower pace, which ended up including a light lunch at the 5th floor cafe.  Crispy-thin potato chips, a blue-cheese tart, and a cherry-frisee salad were the orders of the day.

I just love that Finn was only 6 weeks old and already visiting museums!  Granted, he had no idea what was going on, but it was fun for us to snap his picture in front of the modern masterpieces.

I loved taking the shot below—a woman surrounded by ‘official’ works of art, creating her own art from the real life surrounding the museum.

This stacked-box bureau was part of one of my favorite exhibits of the day—“Standard Deviations” —there was a lot of amazing typeography and interesting design work.  Loved it.Gotham, Bold.xoxo
