A Sweet Summer Shower...

A few weeks ago, I attended the adorable pink-and-sweets-themed shower for my friend and fellow blogger Jenny, The Dessert Darling.  It was simple and elegant and centered around Jenny’s favorite thing: dessert!

Maid-of-honor Ali worked with LA Botanicals for flowers, Joans on Third for catering, and Swizzle Cakes for desserts.  Read Jenny’s dessert review and post about her shower!  My favorite sweet treat had to be the mini white Russian cakes from Swizzle Cakes—oh my word, they were ridiculous!!

As an added treat for the ladies, Ali brought in hunky servers in pink polo shirts to pour the champagne and dish out the sweet treats… hubba hubba.

I highly recommend this cute idea! This hunky dude was MY personal favorite at the shower…

A gaggle of lovely ladies watching the ‘Newlywed’-style interview I edited, starring Jenny’s fiance. This is a great game idea for a bridal shower—it’s basically 20 questions and the bride has to guess her groom’s answers.  My girlfriends did this for me at my shower as well, and the results are always hilarious.

Here is the lovely bride-to-be with one of her many dessert-themed treasures! I can’t wait to be a bridesmaid in her wedding in September. It is sure to be a divine event and the sweets table is going to be off the hizzle. Yeah, I said hizzle, that’s how excited I am.
