A Coffee Date
This week, I met up with my friend Ashley for coffee and a chat.
She’s launching a new website called SilverlakeMom, so we met up in Silverlake (where else?) at a great little spot called LaMill.
If you live on the eastside, you probably know it; it’s adorable & they make delicious lattes.Ash and her sweetie-pie Rhys…
Rhys may be the happiest baby I have ever met.
I’ve seen him cry maybe once in the 5 months he’s been here on this earth.
He’s awesome.
For munchies, we couldn’t decide on sweet or savory, so we went for one of each—a grilled cheese and a grilled nutella.
Delicious—though I find it a bit strange to serve a dessert with potato chips. But maybe that’s just me.One of the ‘perks’ of living in LA is you never know who or what you’ll see when you venture out for any normal day.
On this excursion, we were treated to an a cappella version of ‘Hallelujah’ from 7 singers seated at a table about 10 feet from us. (They were filming a new show called “The Sing-Off.”) Awesome. Just a normal day in Silverlake, I guess…
