Dragon-Con...

Dragon-con, Dragon-con (to be sung to the tune of ‘Spiderman’...)What a nutty, nutty weekend.  But awesome, because I love costumes and if you love costumes, then sci-fi/fantasy conventions are apparently the place to be! 

I spent the weekend signing autographs in Atlanta, which involved many hours of wading through crowds of Jedis, Poison Ivys, Storm Troopers, and Sookie Stackhouses, and the opportunity to meet many amazing, passionate, original fans with interesting stories.  My favorite activity had to be photographing all the creativity around me!  Here are a few of the inventive costumes cooked up for the Con by very creative individuals:

And despite all the colorful action on the ground, the beautiful and terrifying design of the 47-story Marriott Marquis was actually one of the highlights to me…
