I'm jealous of...
...The Jealous Curator. Her site is one my absolute favorites right now—the tagline is: ‘a collection of art that inspires and depresses me. I know it’s good when I’m left thinking “Damn I wish I thought of that”.’ Her so-called-jealousy is the uber-supportive type, someone who uses a negative feeling and turns it into a positive by promoting and sharing another artists’ work with the world.I love all the unique artists she’s bringing to my attention. I love that she’s making the art world accessible. I love these ‘Girl Crush’ tea parties she’s throwing! I’m signing up for either the one in Los Angeles, or Portland—I can’t decide. I’m kinda leaning toward the Portland party, because then I could go with my sister, so it would be double the fun…These paintings by Michael Carson were some of my favorite images she’s posted lately (and I totally ‘pinned’ them):
Gorgeous, right?
Every year for our anniversary, my husband and I celebrate by buying a piece of art; it makes for a special day together and a great year-round reminder of our love. And now I have a site to find all sorts of inspiration for our third wedding anniversary coming up in May! Definitely check it out.http://www.thejealouscurator.com/blog/xoxo
